The papers contain outlines, characterizations, typescripts with annotations and revisions, and select galleys for the novels: Kennedy's Gold (1960), The Iron Horse (1961), The Shadow of a Hawk (1963), and The Disturbing Death of Jenkin Delaney (1966). Also included in the collection are notes from a talk about the writing process and a presentation given to a sixth grade class.
